Aurzen ZIP Pro | Introduction

FAQ

What plug types are included with the Aurzen ZIP Pro?

Aurzen ZIP Pro includes three interchangeable plug types: US/Japan, EU, and UK plugs, making it convenient for travel across different countries and regions.

Please follow the installation instructions in the user manual when changing the plug.

Why is ZIP Pro less bright on battery power than when plugged in?

When running on battery power, ZIP Pro automatically uses ECO Mode to help extend battery life.

When connected to a power source, the projector defaults to Standard Mode. If you need higher brightness, you can switch to Conference Mode in the projector settings.

Does operating noise change between brightness modes?

Yes. Operating noise varies by projection mode.

You can choose the mode that best fits your environment and preferred balance of brightness, battery life, and fan noise.

What is the difference between the two USB-C ports on ZIP Pro?

The two USB-C ports serve different purposes:

  • Upper USB-C Port: USB-C video input for wired projection
  • Lower USB-C Port: USB-C charging input

For wired projection, connect the video cable to the upper USB-C video input port. For charging, use the lower USB-C charging port.

Why is there no image when I connect a device to ZIP Pro via USB-C?

Please check the following:

  1. Make sure the USB-C cable is connected to the upper USB-C video input port on ZIP Pro.
  2. Make sure the USB-C cable supports video transmission. We recommend using the cable included with ZIP Pro.
  3. Make sure your phone, laptop, or other source device supports USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP Alt Mode) video output.

Both the source device and USB-C cable must support video transmission for USB-C wired projection to work.

What is the input latency for ZIP Pro USB-C wired projection?

ZIP Pro has an approximate wired projection latency of 20–40 ms.

How do I connect a Nintendo Switch to ZIP Pro?

Connect the Nintendo Switch to ZIP Pro using a USB-C cable.

For improved compatibility and connection stability, we recommend powering ZIP Pro through the lower USB-C charging port while using wired projection.

Compatibility may vary depending on the Nintendo Switch firmware version.

What is the difference between Wireless Cast and Screen Mirroring on ZIP Pro?Wireless Cast

ZIP Pro connects to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network for wireless casting. Content is streamed to the projector, allowing the source device to remain available for other tasks.

Screen Mirroring

Screen Mirroring does not require ZIP Pro to connect to an external Wi-Fi network beforehand. The projector directly mirrors the screen of the connected device.

Note: A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is still required when performing a system firmware update.

Can I stream Netflix or Disney+ to ZIP Pro wirelessly?

Due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) restrictions, copyrighted content from services such as Netflix and Disney+ cannot be played through wireless screen mirroring.

To watch DRM-protected content, please use a supported wired video connection instead.

How do I update the ZIP Pro firmware?

Open Firmware Update in the ZIP Pro settings menu to check for and install system updates via OTA (Over-the-Air) update.

ZIP Pro must be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during the firmware update process.

Can I control ZIP Pro with the AurzenHub App?

Yes.

Scan the QR code on the product packaging to download the AurzenHub App. You can use the app to control ZIP Pro from your smartphone and change the projector’s screen saver.

Does ZIP Pro need Wi-Fi to change the screen saver in the AurzenHub App?

Yes.

To change the screen saver through the AurzenHub App, ZIP Pro must be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Can ZIP Pro connect to two Bluetooth headphones at the same time?

Yes.

Pair the first Bluetooth headset with ZIP Pro, then pair the second headset after the first connection is complete.

ZIP Pro can output audio to two Bluetooth headphones simultaneously.

Can ZIP Pro connect to a car audio system?

ZIP Pro’s current in-car Bluetooth audio feature supports Tesla vehicles only.

To connect:

  1. Enable Car Bluetooth Mode on ZIP Pro.
  2. Select ZIP Pro from the Tesla Bluetooth device list.
  3. Confirm that the pairing codes displayed on both devices match.
  4. Once paired, ZIP Pro audio will play through the vehicle’s audio system.

After the initial pairing is complete, you can use the in-car Bluetooth audio connection again without repeating the full setup process.

What power adapter is required to charge ZIP Pro?

When charging ZIP Pro while it is powered on, use a 65W or higher USB-C PD power adapter.

When ZIP Pro is powered off, a 65W or higher power adapter is not required.
