Aurzen ZIP Tri-Fold Projector Showcases Mobile Cinema at CES 2026

Las Vegas, January 2026 — At CES 2026, Aurzen introduced a new vision for mobile entertainment with the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector Cyber Edition. Designed around ultra-portability and real-world travel scenarios, the latest ZIP concept explores how projection can move beyond fixed spaces and become part of everyday, on-the-go experiences.

Rather than presenting projection as a traditional living-room device, Aurzen’s CES showcase focused on how compact, foldable projectors can adapt to modern mobility—especially in outdoor, travel, and EV-based use cases.

Designed for Life on the Road

At CES 2026, Aurzen demonstrated the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector in a Tesla Model Y road-trip scenario, highlighting how projection can fit naturally into driving and outdoor lifestyles. When parked at a campsite, scenic overlook, or public park, the projector can be taken from a backpack or center console, unfolded, connected, and ready to project within seconds.

Paired with an upcoming portable in-car projection screen, the setup supports multiple viewing configurations—from rear-seat viewing to tailgate-style outdoor movie nights. The screen can be quickly secured using simple mounting clips, transforming the vehicle into a temporary cinema without permanent installation.

This approach emphasizes flexibility over fixed in-car displays. By removing size and position limitations, the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector offers a larger viewing surface, adjustable angles, and a more social viewing experience—making it easier to share content with friends or family on the road. In this context, the projector becomes less of a standalone gadget and more of a natural extension of the journey itself.

Cyber Edition: A New Industrial Design Direction

One of the highlights of Aurzen’s CES booth was the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector Cyber Edition, which builds on the original ZIP’s three-fold structure and pocket-sized form factor while introducing a more futuristic, industrial design language.

While the exterior design has evolved, the core performance remains consistent with the standard ZIP Tri-Fold Projector. The Cyber Edition uses DLP projection technology and supports AirLink one-click mirroring, allowing content playback without requiring a Wi-Fi connection—an important advantage for outdoor and travel use.

An internal battery provides up to approximately 1.5 hours of playback, with USB-C fast charging support offering added flexibility for mobile scenarios. Together, these features reinforce the Cyber Edition’s focus on portability without compromising usability.

Exploring Creative Projection with 3D Mapping

Beyond traditional viewing, Aurzen also showcased how the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector can be used in 3D mapping and creative projection scenarios. By aligning projected visuals with physical objects and surfaces, images appear to “attach” to real-world forms.

Thanks to its tri-fold structure, the projector can be positioned at a wide range of angles without requiring specialized mounts or tripods. This makes it possible to experiment with basic mapping effects quickly and intuitively.

These creative applications extend beyond entertainment. From art installations and DIY projects to content creation and visual experimentation, the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector positions projection as an interactive medium—one that can participate in the creative process rather than simply displaying content.

Aurzen’s message is clear: when a projector is small, flexible, and easy to reposition, creative possibilities expand far beyond traditional screens.

A Broader Ecosystem of Immersive Projection

In addition to the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector, Aurzen presented its wider projector lineup at CES 2026, highlighting different approaches to immersive home and portable entertainment.

The BOOM series, including BOOM mini and BOOM air, combines native 1080p projection with built-in Google TV and Dolby Audio. These models are aimed at users seeking a more integrated, high-quality audiovisual experience in a compact form factor.

Meanwhile, the EAZZE series targets a broader consumer audience, with models such as D1 Max, D1R Cube, and D1G offering accessible entry points into smart projection. By covering a wide range of price points and use cases, the EAZZE lineup ensures that users with different needs and budgets can still enjoy the convenience of modern projection technology.

Rethinking What Portable Projection Can Be

Aurzen’s CES 2026 showcase reflects a broader shift in how projection is being reimagined. Rather than competing solely on brightness or specifications, the ZIP Tri-Fold Projector concept focuses on how and where people actually watch content today—in cars, outdoors, and in temporary spaces.

As mobility and flexible lifestyles continue to shape consumer technology, compact and adaptable projection solutions like ZIP point toward a future where entertainment is no longer tied to a fixed room, but moves effortlessly with the user.
